Santa Barbara

So, it was our first trip (?) ever since we got married. Except when we went to Japan on the way back from Korea. After lots of debates, we decided to go to Santa Barbara because it was only 2 hours of drive and I have never been there.

Yes, it was my first time to Santa Barbara.

Our first stop was a winery, called Carr located down town Santa Barbara.
Well, there were lots young people. And it was smaller than I expected.
I am not a big fan of red wine but I remember this winery carried more reds than whites.

Their pinot noir was quiet good, I remember.

Oh by the way, the tasting room is in their warehouse, and it's attractive and relaxed with a sit down bar.

Our next stop was Santa Barbara Shellfish Company.

Lots of people were waiting outside, it was breezy, sunny and relaxing.

Calamari. mmMmm.

Oysters. Yum!!!

And crab legs. Love love.

The service was attentive and friendly and the prices were affordable. This is definitely going to be the place to go whenever we are visiting Santa Barbara next time.

And then ice cream.

Walking around the pier... Time goes so slow.

Al fresco sushi dining on a lovely summer evening--Arigato! (That's literally the name of the restaurant!)
